Privacy notice

What ArtistLoom collects and why.

Effective date: October 3, 2026

Information collected

ArtistLoom collects information submitted through website requests, customer accounts, domain requests, support communications, artist contact forms, and optional fan mailing-list forms. This may include names, email addresses, artist names, domain names, messages, website content, and service selections.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to requests, build and operate artist websites, provide account access, connect domains, manage add-ons, deliver support, prevent abuse, and maintain service records.

Artist website forms

Messages sent through an artist's contact form are stored in that artist's dashboard and may also be emailed to the artist. Mailing-list addresses are stored for the selected artist and can be exported by that artist. Artists are responsible for using exported fan information lawfully and honoring unsubscribe requests.

Sessions and security

ArtistLoom uses necessary session cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated and to protect forms. Security logs may store a one-way hash derived from an IP address to limit spam and repeated login attempts.

Payment information

Stripe processes automatic checkout, subscriptions, and payment-method updates. ArtistLoom stores transaction, customer, subscription, billing-status, and renewal identifiers needed to provide access, but does not store full payment-card numbers. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy.

Third-party services

Artist websites may embed or link to third parties such as YouTube, Spotify, merchandise stores, social networks, and mailing providers. Visiting or interacting with those services may allow them to collect information under their own privacy policies.

Sharing

ArtistLoom does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with hosting, email, payment, security, or other service providers only as needed to operate the service, or when required by law.

Retention

Information is retained while needed to provide the service, preserve module content for an active hosted website, maintain reasonable business and payment records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations. A Flex cancellation hides the module without deleting its saved content while the underlying website remains hosted. Deletion requests remain subject to records ArtistLoom must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

Choices and questions
